Position - Gardener/Crematorium Worker

Our workload is highly wide-ranging and includes landscaping and garden maintenance. We are a growing business and we're seeking a mature and enthusiastic individual who is looking for a long-term position as a landscape gardener with a company that has a strong horticultural focus.

We are ideally looking for someone who can hit-the-ground-running and, in time, potentially step up with added responsibility and just generally be a kick-arse all-rounder.

The successful candidate will be hard working, have a passion for plants & gardens, an eye for detail and enjoy interacting with customers.

Duties will be highly varied at times,



but you can expect to cover all the basic garden maintenance tasks within any given day such as:

Weeding, lawn mowing, line trimming/brush cutting, pruning and trimming of hedges, trees and shrubs etc., maintenance of irrigation systems, maintenance of tools, chainsaw operation, using spray equipment, good old shovel & wheelbarrow work, helping families with their enquiries.

What we need from you:

- You must have an unrestricted, manual driver’s license and your own reliable transport

- You must be physically fit and prepared to work outdoors in all kinds of conditions

- Some Crematorium works for the right candidate.

- A reasonably comprehensive knowledge of gardening/landscaping and experience in applying that knowledge in a working environment. (Certificates/qualifications are not strictly required but will of course be highly regarded)

- A positive & friendly attitude is essential. previous crematorium works highly regarded.
