As part of this journey, we're looking for an experienced and energetic Change Practice Lead to drive strategic change initiatives across the organisation and lead the continued evolution of our Change Practice within the Enterprise PMO (EPMO).
Reporting to the Head of Strategy and EPMO, you'll play a critical role in delivering transformational change across a portfolio of enterprise initiatives. This includes leading change management activities for our Learning Experience (LE) transformation program, alongside other strategic initiatives such as digital, data, and member experience projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic oversight with practical delivery. We're seeking a leader who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, driving change outcomes, and developing a growing team while remaining actively involved in the execution of key transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and continuously enhance CPA Australia’s Change Management Framework and enterprise change capability.
- Develop and implement change strategies that support successful delivery of the strategic project portfolio.
- Drive and deliver change management activities across major transformation initiatives, including the Learning Experience (LE) program.
- Conduct change impact assessments, readiness reviews, stakeholder analysis, and adoption planning.
- Develop and execute communication, engagement, and change adoption plans that deliver lasting outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, influencing outcomes and managing resistance effectively.
- Measure change effectiveness, benefits realisation, adoption, and business readiness through reporting and insights.
- Lead, coach,
and develop a team of change practitioners while remaining hands-on in the delivery of priority change initiatives.
About You
You're an experienced enterprise change leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery capability. You thrive in complex environments, can confidently influence senior stakeholders, and know how to balance competing priorities while keeping critical initiatives moving forward.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience leading enterprise-wide business transformation and organisational change initiatives.
- Proven experience developing and embedding change frameworks, governance, and capability.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and executive leaders.
- Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
- Experience leading and developing teams while remaining actively involved in delivery.
- Strong workshop facilitation, communication, and engagement skills.
- Experience in benefits realisation, change adoption measurement, and reporting.
- Excellent commercial acumen, judgement, and problem-solving capability.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Change Management, Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related discipline.
