Working with Developers, Design Consultants, Strata and Building Managers, we help clients navigate complex compliance, remedial and building upgrade projects by delivering practical, cost-effective and compliant solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team.

This is a client-facing role responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of building compliance, fire safety, remedial and upgrade projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, consultants and regulatory authorities to successfully deliver projects from tender through to completion and certification.

3-5 Years; $100K-$120k Base + Super + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a high volume of projects from tender through to certification, including:
- Preparing project specifications
- Providing design advice and technical reviews
- Tender preparation, evaluation and contractor procurement
- Construction programming
- Budget preparation, forecasting and cost control
- Contract administration
- Assessment of progress claims and variations
- Contractor and client management
- Dispute avoidance and resolution
- Project certification and handover
- Conduct onsite inspections and site assessments.
- Prepare project reports, technical reviews and client recommendations.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, Strata Managers, Owners Corporations, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate project stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Identify, monitor and manage project risks, issues and compliance requirements.




- Prepare fee proposals for projects of varying size and complexity.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services that add value to clients.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 3-5 years’ experience in relevant field.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Engineering or a related discipline are highly regarded.
- Client-facing consulting experience, including preparing reports, presenting recommendations and building strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from planning through to completion.
- Experience in contract administration and project financial management.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available).
- A commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Experience within residential and/or commercial construction.
- Knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards and legislation.
- Experience in building compliance, fire safety or remedial building projects.
