Newly created Compliance Lawyer position for investment products working for a technology led organisation operating within the financial markets.

You will join a small team who work at the centre of legal, financial, and corporate governance regulation and will play a senior and influential role in supervising and engaging on complex and often novel exchange traded investment products. The core focus of this role is to oversee compliance, identifying any issues relating to disclosure, product suitability, trading and market integrity. This is a highly commercial role, and you will analyse and determine the appropriate supervisory response as well as engage on governance, product design and structuring. In addition you will contribute to shaping policy and regulatory practice and continuous improvement of the compliance framework.

The ideal candidate would be a Lawyer either working in the funds/investment management industry inhouse or currently working in a law firm workplace and looking to make the transition inhouse. You must have a strong background in funds management, capital markets or exchange traded products.
