The Headache, Neck & Jaw Clinic is a premium physiotherapy practice with a focus on treating patients with specific conditions.
We are searching for additional outstanding Allied Health or Medical Receptionists specifically to join our Southport team!
The successful candidates will share responsibility for the day to day management of our reception desk, as well as the completion of a variety of administration tasks.
You will work in a supportive and friendly workplace, with dedicated Physiotherapists and Administration Staff, who create quality service and a excellent team ethic.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in an allied health or medical front desk role
Previous customer service experience
Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and Private Health Fund Claims through HICAPS along with the Tyro Online payment system
Advanced computer skills
Ability to be adaptable with working hours and locations (covering staff on leave)
Ability to work as an enthusiastic team member, to use initiative and multitask




Proven ability to work within a team and also to work independently
Excellent telephone manner
Positive attitude and passionate about delivering a high level of customer service
Warm and friendly personality
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Maintaining clinic diaries (Cliniko software training provided)
Welcoming patients and recording patient details
Processing patient invoices, including DVA, Work Cover & CTP
Maintaining stationery and clinic supply stocks
Maintaining clinic and reception areas
Performing other administration tasks as directed
Telephone duties
Our operating hours vary between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, we don't open on weekends.
