The local operation in Port Kembla has around 30 people across production, engineering, quality, warehouse, commercial and management functions. The business forms part of a larger international industrial technology group with global reach, established products and strong long-term backing.

This role leads approximately 16 process workers across multiple production lines and sits at the centre of the day-to-day manufacturing operation.

You will:coordinate peoplematerialsproduction scheduleswork in progressinventorywarehouse activitycustomer deliveries
Key areas will include:
People leadership and daily production supervision.e.g. allocating work, setting daily priorities, supporting and engaging approximately 16 process workers,



managing performance, developing skills and maintaining clear accountability.
Production planning and workflow . managing production schedules, maintaining WIP reports, monitoring progress, identifying constraints and adjusting people or priorities to support on-time completion.
Productivity, quality and continuous improvement.e.g. monitoring output and production metrics, reducing errors and cost per unit, maintaining high workmanship standards and working with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
Materials, stock and inventory oversight.e.g. monitoring raw materials and production inventory, supporting stock availability, identifying shortages and coordinating with purchasing, warehouse and supply-chain stakeholders.
Warehouse, freight and customer delivery . supervising warehouse activity, inventory control, shipping schedules, freight movements and the on-time delivery of customer orders.
Systems, reporting and operational control.e.g. maintaining accurate ERP and production information, preparing status reports, tracking performance and giving management clear visibility of progress, risks and required actions.

You will need: Proven production, manufacturing or operations supervision experience Experience leading a frontline production team Strong production scheduling and workflow coordination skillsERP and Microsoft Office capabilityA working understanding of inventory, warehouse and logistics processes Confidence managing performance, resolving conflict and making daily operational decisions Strong safety, quality and customer-delivery discipline

- Experience with ISO 9001, WHS, QA/QC processes, industrial electronics, electrical products or engineered manufacturing will be highly regarded.
