The opportunity

As Finance Manager you will be a key member of a small, high-calibre finance team responsible for the accounting, reporting and tax compliance functions of the group. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will take hands-on ownership of day-to-day accounting across companies, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds.

Specifically, you will manage the month-end reporting, activity statements, year-end financial statements and tax compliance processes. You will also be a key contact point for external tax, audit and superannuation advisors.

Few roles in Perth offer this breadth across accounting, tax, superannuation and investment operations, or this proximity to a diverse, actively managed global investment portfolio.

What you’ll do

- Prepare month-end management accounts, and support consolidated group reporting across investments.
- Prepare special purpose financial statements and year-end workpapers, liaise with external auditors.
- Perform broker statement reconciliations, portfolio/NAV reporting, investment entity accounting.
- Prepare year-end tax workpapers and information requests for external tax and superannuation advisors.




- Drive improvements in financial controls and implement process automation and systems improvement across Finance.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting across the group.
- Support annual trust distribution processes and SMSF administration and compliance.

About you

- CA or CPA with a relevant tertiary degree.
- Approximately 5–8 years in business services, tax advisory or investment accounting roles.
- Exposure to family office, private capital or funds management highly regarded.
- Sound understanding of Australian tax compliance (income tax and GST); exposure to trusts, Division 7A and SMSFs highly regarded.
- Meticulous attention to detail, absolute discretion, and a proactive, hands-on approach.

- $135,000 – $160,000 + superannuation, negotiable based on experience.
