The Byrnecut Group is a full-service underground mining contractor, providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia and Internationally. We operate a multi-million dollar fleet of specialized underground mining equipment across multiple continents and conditions.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Mobile Plant Fitters to fill potential vacancies across our portfolio of international sites.

Reporting to the Underground Leading Hand, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for the servicing and maintenance of all underground machinery and fixed plant, ensuring quality workmanship to maximize machine availability.
- Attend to machine breakdowns, analyze failed parts, components and correct any defects.
- Conduct required tests and inspections to maximize equipment availability.
- Adhere to company and site safety protocols.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

- The necessary trade qualifications
- Appropriate experience in an underground maintenance environment
- Sandvik, Normet and Caterpillar equipment experience
- A current passport




- A strong commitment to protected work practices
- Be self motivated and willing to liaise and interact with local cultures
- Be able and willing to reside offshore for your rostered period
- Valid First Aid Certificate desirable
