Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Test Analyst
to support a data migration project within the utilities/energy sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing migration projects, a strong understanding of
metering concepts
(including
NMIs, Meters, and Registers
), and technical skills in
SQL Server
and
Python
for data validation, analysis, and test automation.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a
Test Analyst
on




data or system migration projects
.
Solid understanding of
metering systems
, including
National Metering Identifiers (NMIs), Meters, and Registers
.
Hands-on experience using
SQL Server
to validate, query, and reconcile data.
Proficiency in
Python
for data validation, scripting, or test automation.
Experience preparing and executing
test cases
, validating migrated data, and performing defect management.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with business, technical, and project teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
Experience in the
energy or utilities sector
will be highly regarded.
