We have a supportive team setting and value staff who are willing to learn, work hard and help across different areas of the business. This role reports directly to the Managing Director, who will provide ongoing support, guidance and training.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The role will include a mix of production work and stores/warehouse duties.
Stores / Warehouse Work
Duties may include:
- Assembling products to complete customer orders
- Picking and packing orders for despatch
- Entering consignments into freight company online systems
- Receiving deliveries from suppliers
- Assisting walk-in customers collecting orders
- General stores and warehouse duties as required
- Use of a walk-behind forklift, no licence required
- Use of a ride-on forklift, forklift licence preferred, although we may assist the right applicant who is willing to obtain one
Process / Production Work
Duties may include:
- Labelling and filling bottles
- Counting products and re-boxing stock
- Sealing products into sterile bags
- Quality control checking of finished products
- General production and warehouse support as required
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will need:
- A positive and flexible attitude
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work well in a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- A willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
- The ability to follow instructions and workplace procedures
- Previous warehouse, stores or production experience would be helpful, but is not essential
