This Transport business is based in Smithfield in Sydney, who are looking for a reliable and experienced worker in their dispatch department to manually handle windows and doors.
Your day will consist of packing, wrapping, prepping and loading windows and doors onto trucks to be ready for the delivery runs.
This role is a Temp to Perm ongoing role, with potential for you to go onto the clients' books after a successful 6-month probation period.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Able to manually unload and load windows and doors
- Move windows and doors from warehouse to dispatch
- Pack and prepare windows for transport
- An eye for details to ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing goods
- Basic computer use for invoicing and dispatch documentation
- Strict adherence to workplace OH&S; policies and procedures
- Physically fit and able
Qualifications & Experience
- Manually handle and lift building products
- Work in a team to assist with daily production requirements
- Forklift ticket not required but highly regarded
- Experience in similar dispatch roles also highly regarded
