Tier One Fire Protection is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice (1st, 2nd or 3rd Year) to join the team.

Tier One Fire Protection provides specialist fire protection applications, products, service and installation across the building & construction industry and retail sector.

LOCATION

We cover all of Canberra. Travel for TAFE will also be required.

THE JOB

- Installation, maintenance, service, and repair of various types of fire sprinkler systems.
- Install/rough in of fire sprinkler pipes/valve sets and fit off various types of fire sprinkler systems.
- Training on the use of Fire Panels and Various Fire systems.
- Read and follow plans and instructions.
- Work at heights, working on ladders, scissor lifts and boom lifts.




- Assist other team members as needed.
- Follow all WHS procedures.
- As an Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter, you will undertake a formal trade-based apprenticeship in CPC Certificate III in Fire Protection – Sprinkler Fitter.

LICENCES REQUIRED FOR APPRENTICESHIP

- White Card (Preferred but not essential)
- Asbestos Awareness Card (Preferred but not essential)
- Silica Awareness Card (Preferred but not essential)
- Current Drivers Licence (Essential)
