Your Contribution

- Monitor resident's health status and implement interventions appropriately as directed by the Registered Nurse and / or Manager of Residential Services.
- Undertake clinical observations and interventions as directed by the resident's General Practitioner and Registered Nurse and / or Manager of Residential Services
- Ensure delivery of the Care Process through effective and timely resident assessment, documentation, care plan development, implementation and evaluation
- Coach the care staff to enable them to deliver high quality care, develop skills and knowledge gaps.
- Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic person-centered approach
- Build positive relationships with Residents, families, and other staff members

The Essentials





- Current registration with theNational Nurse's Registration Board (AHPRA).
- Experience in working within atleast one of the following clinical nursing areas: aged, medical,surgical, psychogeriatric, geriatric rehabilitation, palliative care,community nursing
- Demonstrated experience inmaintaining quality systems within the care environment, preferably agedand community care or health care system
- Proficiency with Microsoft OfficeSuite (MS Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Demonstrated written and oralcommunication skills
- A current National Criminal History RecordCheck (within the last 3 years) suitable for aged care
