Join Our Team – at Foys Restaurant & Bar and Flying Bear Café!

We’re gearing up for a busy summer season across our iconic harbourside venues – Foys Restaurant & Bar and Flying Bear Café – and we’re looking for energetic, enthusiastic people to join our team over the coming 4 weeks! Training Provided!

We’re hiring for various casual 15-30 hour positions (which will increase as the seasons change), including:

Waitstaff

About Our Venues

Foys Restaurant & Bar: A modern waterfront dining destination located above the Sydney Flying Squadron, known for its fresh menu, stunning harbour views, and buzzing summer trade.

Flying Bear Café: A relaxed harbourside café loved by locals, kayakers, dog-walkers, and weekend brunchers alike.

Both venues are easily accessible by public transport, just a short walk from Milsons Point station, Kirribilli Wharf, and surrounding bus routes.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your role, you’ll be responsible for:

- Taking orders, running food and drinks,



clearing and resetting tables (waitstaff).
- Preparing great coffee and beverages (baristas - minimum 6 months experience required).
- Serving drinks, cocktails, and maintaining bar service (bartenders).

All roles need to deliver outstanding customer service to guests and support the team with cleaning, stock, and general setup / pack-down duties

What You'll Need

- Working rights in Australia.
- 1+ years' hospitality, retail or customer service experience
- A positive, energetic attitude and great communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a rapid-paced environment.
- Team players who bring friendliness and reliability.

Bonus points if you have:

Barista or waiting experience.
