NECA Education & Careers, in partnership with our host employers, isseeking dedicated and motivated 2nd and 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices to join the team. This is a great chance for someone looking to continue their apprenticeship and gain diverse, hands-on experience with industry leaders. Several of our host employers across Metro Melbourne are seeking quality apprentices to work on a variety of projects including but not limited to data centres, apartments, hospitals, and more.
About the Role:
As your employer, NECA Education & Careers will provide ongoing mentoring and support to help you become a qualified A‑Grade Electrician. While majority of work will be based in the Western Suburbs, you will rotate across various worksites in Metro Melbourne to gain a diverse range of experience within the commercial sector.
NECA apprentices must be willing to travel across Melbourne and feel confident working with new people, including different A‑Grade Electricians on a variety of sites.
The ideal candidate will have:
- All electrical trade school modules up to date, including all profiling cards current, accurate, and fully verified.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- The ability to learn quickly and follow instructions on the job with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Consistent punctuality and solid performance both onsite and in trade school
- Domestic or commercial electrical experience (highly regarded)
- A current Drivers Licence and Access to your own vehicle
- White Card
