Senior Finance Analyst - Funds Management

A boutique real estate private equity manager with a large portfolio in assets under management is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support asset-level finance tasks across a diversified investment portfolio. This role will partner with Asset and Property managers to monitor and enhance asset performance against business plans.

This is a newly created fantastic opportunity for an analytically-minded Analyst looking to deepen their exposure to real estate investment and portfolio finance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead asset-level budgeting and forecasting, including detailed financial modelling and variance analysis to support asset optimisation
- Review monthly property financials, analyse key performance drivers, and provide commercial insights
- Prepare investor and co-investor reporting packs, including financial analysis and performance commentary
- Manage property trust account preparation and calculate property-level distributable income and manage distributions
- Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of models, templates, and reporting processes




- Support annual audit and tax compliance processes
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and capital expenditure

About You

- Tertiary qualified in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline; CA/CPA qualified or well progressed
- 3+ years' relevant experience, ideally within real estate, private equity or funds management
- Advanced financial modelling capability — asset and fund-level models, forecasting, scenario analysis, and return metrics (IRR, equity multiples, distributions)
- Track record of standardising models, templates, and reporting processes to improve consistency and transparency across a portfolio
- Strong accounting and tax knowledge relevant to property, trust, and fund structures; familiarity with AIFRS
- Advanced Excel and Word skills, with comfort adopting recent systems and tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify key drivers, and communicate commercial insights
