Job Title: Casual Kitchen Hand - Doughnut Prep & Cook (Level 2)
Location: Potts Point
Job Type: Casual (2 days per week to start, scaling up as we grow)
Roster: Sundays + 1 Weekday (Must be flexible with shift lengths)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Level 2 Prep Kitchen Hand to join our small team. This is a hands-on role focused on creating the magic behind our flavours. You will go beyond basic cleaning to actively assist in making our daily batches.

Shift Windows & Flexibility

- Start Times: Vary between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM .
- Finish Times: Vary between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM .
- Flexibility: You must be willing and available to stay longer if production demands require it on the day.

Key Responsibilities

- Filling Prep: Prepare, mix, and portion our signature doughnut fillings and toppings.
- Doughnut Cooking: Assist with proofing, frying and rolling doughnuts to golden perfection under direction.
- Station Setup: Ensure ingredients are measured, organized, and stocked for production.
- Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean workspace, sanitise equipment,



and handle dishwashing as needed.
- Food Safety: Strictly follow protected food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety protocols

Skills and Experience

- Kitchen Experience: 6-12 months in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or cafe prep role is preferred.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to adapt to varying start/finish times and reliable transport for 6:00 AM starts.
- Attentiveness: Great attention to detail when following recipes, measuring ingredients, and monitoring cook times.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods and managing active kitchen tasks.
- Growth Mindset: Enthusiastic about learning the art of doughnut making as our business expands.
