About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-orientedLegal Admin/Paralegalto join our Legal Support Team.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday during business hours.
The position is ideal for:
An experienced legal secretary or paralegal seeking a secure, long-term role in a family law practice, or
Law students with a robust interest in family law and wanting to gain hands-on experience while studying.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our Legal Support Team, your duties will include:
Greeting clients and managing in-person enquiries.
Handling phone calls and making outbound calls as directed.
General office administration - scanning, filing, printing, processing mail,
etc.
Providing administrative support to our director and solicitors.
Preparing letters, documents, and Court forms.
Assisting during Court appearances and mediations.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience in a client-facing role or legal office environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office programs
Fast and accurate typing skills(essential)
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong work ethic and a proven history of learning
A professional and friendly nature with clients and other staff
Availability for Monday to Friday, standard business hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm
Experience with Smokeball or similar legal management programs is also an advantage but we will provide software training to the successful candidate.
