A newly created opportunity has arisen with Hallite Seals (Australia) for a CNC Machinist (permanent) based in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.

Hallite Seals Australia is a Michelin Group Company, Hallite manufacture and supply high-performance seals and sealing solutions for the world’s fluid power industry. In addition to this we have a worldwide network of service partners that support our global presence and ensure the full range of Hallite products are readily accessible.

As part of a dynamic team, you will be keen, hardworking, and reliable with a positive attitude towards workplace health and safety as well as learning. In the role you will be responsible for the general operations of the CNC machine, including machine set-up, operation, modifying existing programs and creating new programs as required.

We are looking for the following skills and attributes:

If you have the following, we want to hear from you;

- 1-3 years of experience in an engineering environment or similar role, we are willing to train the right candidate
- Experience with engineering drawings
- Experience with CNC lathe operations
- Experience in 2D programming using Siemens Controller




- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
- Initiative and sound problem-solving skills
- Experience with Siemens control systems.
- Experience with hydraulic seals
- Trade qualification in Engineering (min Cert III) or currently training
- Must be reliable, hardworking and motivated, with a solid focus on productivity, meeting deadlines and maintaining high output levels. Punctuality, attendance and a positive work ethic are highly valued in this role.
