Contract Opportunity - 15-18 months with opportunity to extend Senior Project Engineer x2 -Mining

An exciting chance is available for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a major international mining study. This is a 15–18 month contract with the potential for extension, offering an immediate start and the opportunity to contribute to a significant project from the Brisbane CBD office.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee technical delivery of engineering projects from initiation through completion, supporting coordination and execution.
- Conduct monthly schedule and budget reviews to track progress, risks, and performance.
- Perform technical assurance and peer reviews to maintain engineering quality and compliance.
- Manage permitting activities and stakeholder tracking to support approvals and project delivery.




- Provide integrated project reporting to the DFS Steering Committee, highlighting progress, risks, and key decisions.
- Coordinate formal interfaces across Mining, Process, Infrastructure, CAPEX/OPEX, and Financial Evaluation disciplines.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in engineering project delivery with technical leadership.
- Project Management certification (PMI, AIPM, or equivalent) – Desirable.
- Engineers Australia membership – Desirable.
- RPEQ registration – Desirable.
- AusIMM membership – Desirable.
