We are seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to play a key role in strengthening and maintaining process safety systems within a high-risk industrial environment.

This position is responsible for embedding process safety principles into daily operations, ensuring risks are effectively identified, assessed, and controlled. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive safety performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support process safety risk assessments (e.g. HAZOP, LOPA)
- Maintain and continuously improve the process safety risk register
- Support development and ongoing management of site safety case documentation
- Conduct and facilitate critical control verification activities
- Promote and integrate process safety practices into operational systems
- Assist with incident investigations and safety-related reviews
- Ensure alignment with relevant legislation, standards, and internal frameworks





Required skillset:

- Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering
- Post graduates will be considered
- Strong understanding of process safety management systems
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP and LOPA
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and standards
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
