This position will involve preparing detailed manufacturing drawings and assisting with engineering design activities for customised lifting and hoisting equipment.

This position will involve preparing detailed manufacturing drawings and assisting with engineering design activities for customised lifting and hoisting equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings
- Assist the engineering team with drafting, technical documentation, and design support




- Maintain and manage engineering drawings within the digital document system
- Ensure all drawings meet engineering standards, compliance requirements, and quality expectations
- Support additional drafting and engineering-related tasks when required

Ideal Background

- Proven drafting experience using AutoCAD and Inventor
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering environment
- Understanding of manufacturing and workshop practices, including steel fabrication, welding, machining, mechanical assembly, and basic electrical systems
- Comfortable working under engineering supervision and following technical direction
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing workplace
