Suitable applicants will ideally display the ability to:

- Sustain high impact instruction strategies, including Daily Review, Engagement Norms, Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI) and Check for Understanding tactics.
- Drive improved student outcomes by using data analysis to track progress and inform teaching.
- Embed a culturally responsive mindset within the class and school community using the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework to support teaching and learning.
- Improve attendance outcomes by identifying and addressing barriers to regular attendance and creating a school environment where every student feels safe, valued and connected.
- Strengthen the implementation of Positive Behaviour Supports by embedding the school’s common language and behaviour expectations.
- Enhance the learning setting so that it exemplifies our school values,



designed to support student engagement and achievement.
- Engage with families and develop an improved understanding of the cultural diversity of our school community, investigating ways of celebrating their contribution to our school.
