About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our Adelaide team. Our Adelaide team is experiencing significant growth and is currently delivering major Defence, Healthcare, Education, Residential, Industrial and Commercial projects across South Australia and nationally. This provides exceptional project variety and exposure to some of Australia's most complex developments. You will manage and maintain technical processes to assess and review projects, ensuring compliance with legislation and governing bodies.



This role provides direct exposure to a broad range of building classifications and assessment pathways, offering an excellent opportunity for surveyors seeking to progress their accreditation and work toward Building Surveyor Level 1 registration.

Supporting Senior Building Surveyors and Managers, you will play a vital role in delivering client and project needs efficiently and accurately. This is an exciting prospect to grow your career and industry profile while contributing to projects that shape communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess project documentation and liaise with clients, providing recommendations for compliance with the Building Act, Regulations, and Building Code of Australia.
- Providing documentation management including ensuring that job files and other office systems are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensuring communication with authorities and councils via notification of requests for information is timely and accurate at all times.
- Preparation of technical reports overviewing compliance requirements and recommendations for projects.

- Proactive involvement with internal technical discussions, and providing guidance and opinions on complex technical matters to assist personal development, and the development of others.
