International Teacher Visa Sponsorship Program
We are seeking qualified and experienced Secondary Teachers (7-12) from Singapore or South Africa to join our dynamic team and contribute to the enriching educational experience we offer our students. As part of this program, we provide comprehensive sponsorship benefits to selected international teachers and their families.

Benefits of the International Teacher Sponsorship Program:
- Visa Sponsorship: We will sponsor the Subclass 482 (Temporary Skill Shortage) visa for selected international teachers, covering all associated costs. This includes the visa application costs for the applicant and their immediate household family members, specifically their spouse and children (if any).
- Relocation Allowance:
A relocation assistance allowance will be provided to help facilitate the transition. This may include assistance with accommodation, flights, airport transfers and settling into the new community.
- Support in Relocating: The program facilitates relocation to Sydney, Australia, a vibrant and diverse city known for its excellent quality of life, with the possibility of a permanent or long-term stay depending on immigration approval. We also offer support in navigating the transition to a new city.
- Competitive Remuneration: International teachers will receive a competitive salary package commensurate with their qualifications, experience, and the relevant Industrial Agreement.
- Professional Development: International teachers will have access to a wide range of professional development opportunities, including workshops, training sessions, and programs to enhance their skills and effectiveness in the classroom.

Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
A solid understanding of, and commitment to, the Islamic ethos, values,
mission and educational philosophy of Malek Fahd Islamic School.
The capacity to contribute positively to a caring, respectful and supportive school environment for students, parents and staff.
A commitment to modelling the values and professional conduct expected within an Islamic school community, including integrity, respect, responsibility and care.
The ability to embed the MFIS vision and educational philosophy into teaching practice in ways that support successful outcomes for all learners.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
Relevant teaching qualifications and a minimum of five years’ full-time teaching experience, preferably within the last seven years.
High-level written and verbal communication skills in English.
Eligibility to obtain a Working With Children Check and NESA accreditation upon arrival in New South Wales. Employment is subject to meeting these requirements.
Eligibility to meet the relevant Australian immigration requirements, including requirements set by the Australian Department of Home Affairs for the Temporary Skill Shortage visa, where applicable.
