suezwater Acting as an integral member of the Engineering and Construction multi-disciplinary team, the CAD Designer will prepare technical drawings, sketches, and associated documentation to support feasibility studies, basic and detailed design projects, and provide site drafting support and completion documentation. Benefits Task & responsibilities Key Duties / Responsibilities: Complete drafting and modelling tasks assigned by the Installation & Piping Lead or Design Manager for specific project work. Support coordination of drafting and modelling activities within the engineering team, including outsourced drafting services where required.

Prepare progress, productivity, and utilisation reports as requested. Provide support and guidance to other design drafters as required. Ensure engineering drawings comply with Australian Standards, SUEZ standards, and client requirements.

Check drawings for compliance with internal design processes, specifications, and standards. Ensure design drawings are suitable for construction, with all necessary dimensions and details. Participate in design reviews and project meetings as required.

Contribute to project planning and interdisciplinary design coordination. Participate in design reviews including HAZOPs, Safety in Design, and Value Engineering reviews. Assist in the development of drafting systems, templates, libraries, and tools, Participate with the team to held build, develop,



and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and ensure tat needs are understood and incorporated.

Qualification & experience Essential Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering desirable but not essential. 5+ years' experience in design/drafting within water, construction, or related industries. Experience with water and wastewater treatment plan design and mechanical equipment.

Experience working in multi-disciplinary design teams. Desirable Skills: Strong understanding of engineering design and documentation principles. Ability to translate technical inputs into constructible design outputs.

Experience working with P&IDs; and detailed design deliverables. Awareness of safety and environmental integration in design. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with CAD and modelling tools. Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing project requirements. Familiarity with MS Office and project collaboration tools.
