We are currently seeking an experienced Yard Operations Support / Stores Person to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

This role supports the day-to-day operation of our stores and yard, working closely with our senior yard operations manager to ensure plant, equipment, and materials are prepared, maintained, and delivered to project teams when required.

This is a hands‑on operational role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in keeping things organised, and is comfortable working independently while supporting a wider team.

You will play an important role in keeping projects moving by ensuring equipment, materials, and deliveries are handled efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the day-to-day operation of the yard and stores
- Prepare, allocate and issue plant, equipment, and materials to project teams
- Assist in maintaining stock levels and organising stores inventory
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard and workshop environment
- Deliver and collect materials, equipment, and supplies to and from project sites
- Operate an HR flatbed truck for site deliveries as required
- Operate a forklift and other materials handling equipment
- Receive deliveries and perform incoming goods inspectionsAssist with stock control and stocktakes
- Coordinate and assist with routine maintenance of small plant, vehicles, and equipment




- Maintain presentation of the yard and company vehicles

About You

You are reliable, practical, and motivated to keep things running smoothly. You are comfortable taking initiative in day-to-day tasks while working under the direction of the senior yard operations manager.

This role suits someone with solid experience in stores, warehouse, or yard operationswho enjoys being hands‑on and is happy to take ownership of the daily work that keeps operations moving.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Current Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in stores, warehouse, or yard operations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar systems)
