Senior Visitor Host – Powerhouse Parramatta

About the Role

We are looking for energetic, friendly and experienced people to become Senior Hosts at Powerhouse Parramatta.

As a Senior Host, you will help lead front-of-house operations and bring a warm and welcoming experience to life for every visitor, supporting Hosts engage with guests in a warm and attentive way. You will assist with shift coordination, act as a first point of contact for guest and operational matters, help coordinate guest flow during exhibitions and events, and support the coaching and onboarding of Hosts to keep service standards consistent across the site. This is a rapid-paced, social and hands-on role where every day is different, and where your experience will help shape the visitor experience for the whole team.

About You

You are someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, building positive relationships, and bringing out the best in others. You are confident stepping into a support and coordination role, guiding Hosts, helping resolve guest issues, and knowing when to bring in extra support. You thrive in busy, public environments, adapting easily to changing situations while remaining calm and reliable under pressure. Passionate about inclusion and accessibility, you believe everyone should feel welcome, valued, and able to participate fully.



Experience leading or coordinating a team in a hospitality, retail, or events environment is helpful , but what matters most is your warmth, reliability, and genuine interest in helping others.

About Powerhouse Parramatta

Powerhouse Parramatta is Western Sydney’s first state cultural institutions and one of the world's most significant new museum projects. Opening in late 2026 with an anticipated annual visitation of over 2million, the Powerhouse will open with 5 international exhibitions that reflect the ambition of the museum across the applied arts and sciences, culture, industry and innovation. The program has been developed in collaboration with the communities of Western Sydney, and local and international collaborators.
