Qualified Butcher

wanted for 4 day work week consisting of a Sunday off as well as 2 consecutive week days (excluding December due to Christmas work loads). A standard work week will consist 44 hours with overtime pay included in each day. You will be joining our dynamic and energetic team at our store in Lambton NSW.

What to expect:

As a qualified Butcher, you will join a team of dynamic, motivated and friendly young butchers who have a passion and enthusiasm for their craft.

Your Duties:

- Skillfully and efficiently cutting a variety of meats for the counter and direct customer orders and requests.
- Making everything, from our gourmet sausages, to a number of specialty products such as salamis, hams, bacon and smoked sausages.
- Breaking down bodies, processing and storing meats.
- Taking inventory of stocks, as well as taking deliveries of carton and body meats.
- Upholding our ideals of quality presentation, hygiene and food safety.
- Interacting with customers and using our point of sales.

At The Craft Butcher, our Staff are our number one priority. As a small business, we are able to get to know our staff on a very personal level, and we want to help them reach their personal and skilled goals to the very best of our ability.

Our store is open 6 days, but our staff will work a 4 day work week consisting of a Sunday off as well as 2 consecutive week days (excluding December due to Christmas work loads). A standard work week will consist 44 hours with overtime pay included in each day.

- We will pay above award wages (to be discussed with the right applicant).
- We offer a 50% staff discount on all the products we sell at our store.
