We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Gardener / Horticulturalist to join our growing team.

This role is suited to someone who takes genuine pride in their work, understands horticulture, enjoys working with gardens and wants to be part of a professional business that values quality, reliability and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining and improving some of Canberra's best strata gardens, while having the opportunity to grow with the business as we expand our services.

The business is led by a principal owner with Certificate III qualifications in Horticulture and Arboriculture, bringing strong knowledge of plant health, garden management and professional tree care.

About the Role





- Maintaining and improving quality residential and strata gardens
- Pruning, hedging and plant management
- Weed control, mulching and soil improvement
- Lawn care and seasonal garden tasks
- Plant identification and horticultural problem solving
- Minor landscaping and garden improvement works
- Irrigation installation, repairs and maintenance
- An opportunity to assist with developing tree care and arboricultural services
- Communicating professionally with clients, contractors and team members
- Working independently while maintaining high standards

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has proven experience in gardening, horticulture, landscaping or arboriculture
- Takes pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship
- Has strong plant knowledge and understands garden maintenance requirements
- Can work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is reliable, organised and professional
- Communicates well with clients and colleagues
- Holds a current driver's licence
- Enjoys working outdoors and being part of a quality-focused team

Experience in the following areas would be highly regarded:

- Residential or strata garden maintenance
- Landscaping and garden construction
- Arboriculture and tree work
- Irrigation systems
- Plant selection and garden improvement projects
- Horticulture qualifications
