Join our team as ahigh-performing Coordinator and take the lead at an established and flourishingAfter School Care service located on the grounds ofSt Mary St Joseph Catholic Primary School, Maroubra . This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant and supportive community.
This is aPermanent, Full-Time position. Before & after school care plus Vacation care. Split shifts Monday - Friday with 2 block shift per week.

About the Role
We are seeking anenthusiastic and dedicated professional with a genuine passion for childcare. As Coordinator , you will inspire your team with compassion, friendliness, and the ability to engage positively and productively with children.
Your Key Responsibilities:
As the Coordinator, you will play a vital leadership role in shaping a positive, enriching environment for children, educators, and families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create a protected, inclusive space – Champion a culture where every child and staff member feels welcome, supported, and respected
Stay organised and vigilant – Manageaccurate attendance records and bookings to ensure consistent supervision and safety
Empower your team –Supervise and mentor educators , helping them grow in confidence and capability in their daily practice
Inspire young minds – Design and deliverengaging, educational programs , underpinned by thoughtful observations and reflection
Live the values – Support and promote themission and ethos of the Catholic Church , embedding them in your day-to-day leadership
Build strong community ties – Nurturepositive relationships with families, the school, and key community stakeholders
About You:
To excel in this role, you will bring:
ADiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care .
Proven experience inOut of School Hours Care (OSHC) .
Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
Is reliable, organised, and enthusiastic
Certification inChild Protection Training .
CurrentFirst Aid Certificates , including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.
A validNSW Working With Children Check .
Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.Register GECCKO
Applicants must havecurrent and valid working rights in Australia

SCECS operates Outside School Hours Care and Early Childhood Services at several Catholic schools and Parishes within the Sydney Archdiocese. Our Centres provide quality education and care programs with qualified and passionate educators.
Our philosophy is, believing that every child is a valuable and unique individual created by God. We value each child as an individual responsible for their own learning. We believe that children are theory builders and problem solvers, who learn best by making meaning of their world through play, relationships and experiences. We value children as social beings and recognise that they co-construct knowledge with peers, their families and our staff.
