You don’t need marine or glazing experience — we’re looking for the right person with the right attitude, trade skills and attention to detail.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on tradesperson to join our National Mobile Installation Team.

This role is ideal for someone with a practical trade or installation background who wants to learn a specialised skillset and work on unique marine projects.

You will be involved in the installation, repair and replacement of marine windows, doors, glazing systems and specialised plastic components across a wide range of vessels.

Your existing experience in installation, construction, fabrication, fitting, repairs or technical work will provide a strong foundation. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Installing and repairing marine windows, doors, glass and plastic systems
- Carrying out precision fitting, sealing and finishing work
- Using hand and power tools with accuracy and care
- Reading situations,



solving problems and finding practical solutions on‑site
- Working across different vessels and project environments
- Supporting quality control and maintaining high safety standards
- Communicating with clients, project teams and other tradesInstalling and repairing marine glass and window systems

About You

You’re a practical, hands‑on installer or tradesperson who takes pride in quality work.

You may come from a background in shipwrighting, shopfitting, carpentry, cabinet making, joinery, boat building, glazier, window and door installation, construction fit‑outs, or an other precision installation trades.

Glazing or marine experience is welcome butnot required . We’ll provide training and support to help you develop into a skilled marine installation technician.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Precise and detail-focused, with pride in their workmanship
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently
- A practical problem-solver with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working at heights and on the water
- Willing and able to travel regularrally for workAre you from a trade background and wanting a change?

Requirements

- Trade or installation background
- Interest/experience in the marine, glazing, or similar field (welcomed but not essential)
- Regular national travel with some international travel (required)
- Manual driver’s licence (required)
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket – or willingness to obtain
- Understanding of marine vessels and systems – a bonus!
