THE ROLE

Reporting to the CEO, the Director Corporate Services provides strategic leadership across finance, governance, risk, technology and people functions to ensure the Shire is financially sustainable, digitally enabled and organisationally capable.

The role is central to leading high-quality internal support services that enable managers and employees to deliver community focused services, make sound decisions, manage risk, and continuously improve the way the organisation works.

As a key member of the Executive Team,



the Director will work closely with the CEO, Council and senior leaders to drive organisational effectiveness, lead change and position the Shire to meet future challenges while delivering better outcomes for the community.

REQUIREMENTS

The Shire is seeking a strategic, commercially astute and customer-focused executive who can support long-term organisational success through solid financial literacy, sound governance, disciplined risk management, and a clear focus on performance, service quality and organisational capability.

Viewing Corporate Services as a trusted internal service provider, you will lead practical, responsive and solutions-focused support that helps managers and employees succeed and strengthens confidence in the organisation’s enabling functions.

Innovative and future-focused, you will embrace technology, data and continuous improvement to strengthen services, simplify processes and improve business outcomes, while calmly leading change, building trust and engaging effectively with Elected Members, key stakeholders and the broader community.

THE PACKAGE

The Total Reward Package for this position is up to $280,000, comprised of a base salary of up to $231,000 plus superannuation plus vehicle allowance.
