We are seeking an experienced and reliable Civil Water Maintenance Technician to join our team servicing Melbourne’s Suburbs. This role involves the repair and maintenance of water mains and water service connections to residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

- Repair burst water mains, leaking services, defective ferrules, hydrants, valves, stop taps and associated assets.
- Excavation, trenching and reinstatement works
- Fault finding and emergency repair response
- Safe operation of trucks, excavators and associated plant
- Compliance with safety, environmental and industry regulations
- Working overtime when required to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently
- Respond to water network faults within required response timeframes
- Investigate and diagnose faults across the water distribution network
- Perform valve installations and other network maintenance activities
- Complete excavation, backfilling, pavement and bitumen reinstatement works




- Conduct site risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policies & procedures
- Meet maintenance, response and rectification KPIs.

Ideal Requirements

- HR Truck Licence
- ESV Ticket
- Asbestos Handling Ticket
- Excavator Ticket
- Traffic Management Ticket
- Trenching and Shoring
- Proven experience in civil water maintenance
- Robust understanding of secure work practices
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Working with Children Check
- Police check
