Viva Leisure, parent company to Club Pilates and one ofAustralia's leading fitness companies, is looking for new GroupFitness Instructors to join our Hamilton North studio on a casualbasis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a studio that ispreparing to transition from Rebalance to the globally recognisedClub Pilates brand as part of Viva Leisure's partnership withBoutique Fitness Studios (BFS). As the studio embarks on thisexciting transformation, you'll have the unique opportunity to bepartof the journey from the very beginning, helping bring aworld-class Pilates experience to the local community.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality groupfitness classes that inspire and engage our members. At VivaLeisure, we pride ourselves on creating positive member experiencesdriven by passion, growth, and exceptional service. In addition todelivering dynamic and protected classes, instructors are expected toactively contribute to increasing class participation.

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible forleading scheduled classes at the studio. Reporting to the ClubLeader, you will ensure each session is safe, energetic, andenjoyable, helping members achieve their fitness goals in asupportive and welcoming environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness toobtain)
- Certificate III in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader (GEL)Certification
- Relevant Certification for Group Fitness (Yoga, Pilates,Less Mils etc)
- Strong knowledge and passion for the fitness industry
- Understanding of fitness training methods, exerciseprinciples, and relevant technologies
- Skilled in applying first aid procedure
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and promote safetyprocedures
- Experience in sales and customer service, ideally withinthe fitness or retail sectors
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills, with theability to engage and build rapport with diverse members
- Compassionate, organised, and capable of guiding members ina safe and friendly environment
- Excellent multitasking abilities to manage memberinteractions and class delivery effectively
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-equippedfacility

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver high-quality group fitness classes withprofessionalism, including setup, pack down,



and safe use ofequipment
- Role model Viva Leisure values and uphold high standards ofbehaviour and conduct
- Motivate and support members, ensuring correct techniqueand fostering strong member relationships to encourageretention and growth
- Collaborate effectively with club staff and the broaderViva Leisure team
- Maintain compliance with Work Health & Safety policies,reporting hazards and incidents promptly
- Stay current with certifications and adhere to all relevantfitness industry standards and facility procedures
- Promote gym services and assist members with enquiries,escalating issues to the Club Leader when necessary
- Ensure class coverage by notifying the Club Leader inadvance if unavailable to teach
