The Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the commercial team on one of Australia's most prestigious construction projects — a$3 billion development in the heart of Sydney CBD .

This landmark mixed‑use development will transform Sydney's Midtown precinct, comprising premium residential apartments, luxury hotel accommodation, retail, commercial space and world‑class public domain. Offering an unparalleled level of project complexity, scale and prestige, this is the type of project that defines careers.

Working alongside a highly experienced Senior Project Manager and commercial leadership team, you will take ownership of key commercial packages while helping drive the successful delivery of one of Australia's most iconic developments.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Leading procurement and commercial management of major subcontract packages from tender through to final account
- Preparing, negotiating and administering subcontract agreements
- Managing progress claims, payment schedules, variations and contract correspondence
- Monitoring project budgets, forecasting, cash flow and monthly cost reporting
- Identifying commercial risks and implementing strategies to protect project outcomes




- Working closely with Project Engineers and site teams to resolve contractual and commercial matters
- Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders throughout the delivery process
- Supporting commercial strategy across a complex, multi‑stage mixed‑use development

About You

- Degree‑qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 7+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale commercial, mixed‑use or high‑rise residential projects valued at $100M+
- Excellent understanding of procurement, contract administration and commercial management
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage large trade packages and project reporting
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, commercially minded skilled who thrives on technically challenging projects
