We are looking for a mature, responsible and physically fit person who is well presented, communicates effectively, has empathy for dogs and their owners, and can work independently.
Candidates with a dog training qualification and an ABN will be highly regarded.
We will also consider candidates who may have recently graduated from a recognised dog trainer course.
On-the-job training will be provided for approximately 6–8 weeks. Successful candidates must have an ABN, a full driver’s licence, satisfactory police clearance and employment reference checks.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Proven experience in the pet care industry using an eclectic method of training
- Applied knowledge of canine behaviour
- A satisfactory police criminal history check
The successful candidate will join a supportive team of instructors at Command Dog Training School and will have access to free training workshops throughout the year. Furthermore, uniforms will be provided.
