The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Underground Mobile Maintenance Leader with a robust background in underground metals mining to support a mining operation in Canada, working on a FIFO basis on a 6/2 roster with flexibility. This is an exciting opportunity for a reliability-focused maintenance leader to apply their expertise across mobile underground mining fleets, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, work management and asset performance. The role will involve working closely with maintenance and site teams to identify opportunities, strengthen maintenance practices and implement practical, sustainable improvements that enhance fleet reliability, quality and overall availability.

What the Role Entails

- Provide leadership and operational support across mobile maintenance and reliability activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on mobile fleet reliability, quality, and equipment availability.
- Analyse fleet performance, maintenance data, and reliability trends to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve mobile fleet availability and maintenance performance.
- Work closely with maintenance, operations,



and site leadership teams to identify and address reliability challenges.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance improvement initiatives and best practices.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and work quality.
- Promote a proactive reliability culture across mobile fleet maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure improvement initiatives are practical, measurable, and sustainable.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams as required.
- Prepare reports and provide insights into fleet performance, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Need

- Previous experience in a Mobile Maintenance, Reliability Superintendent role within the mining industry.
- Must have experience in Underground Metals operations.
- Demonstrated experience in reliability improvement and continuous improvement initiatives .
- Proven ability to improve equipment availability, maintenance performance, and quality of work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret maintenance and fleet performance data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across maintenance and operations teams.
