Occupational Therapist

At Talent Quarter, we currently have a fixed term (6‑12 month contract) or permanent role for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist in Shepparton VIC. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to regional Australian communities.

The Role

- Working with frail aged and people with disabilities to maximise independence at home
- Working with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and safety at home
- Developing goals and care plans to assist clients to remain at home and active in their local community
- Collaborating with other clinicians in the RAHT team to offer holistic care to clients referred
- Working with a diverse range of clients and health conditions
- Working across funding streams such as HACC PYP, CHSP & possibly the NDIS (minimal, if any)




- Opportunity to work with Allied Health Assistants to undertake client care programs and equipment trials
- Primarily home‑based work with some prospect for clinic appointments

About You

- Community OT experience
- Knowledge of Australian Building Standards with home modifications
- Experience with scooter assessments, wheelchair prescription
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a pleasant, kind manner
- Current, valid AHPRA registrations
- Valid background/Police check and at least 2 working references
- Comfortable to work in a regional setting
- Familiar with funding schemes such as Geat2GO and SWEP desirable
- Working with the elderly is a bonus
