A outstanding opportunity has become available for a Casual Chef at Otti Cafe in South Bank.

Located in the lobby of a busy International Hotel, Otti Café serves up a contemporary, tasty menu, from light cafe treats to generous dinners complemented with a good local beer or wine.

Ideally, you’re passionate about food and can cook with creativity, flair and consistency. You strive for excellence and knowwhat it means to make every customer experience exceptional.

Experience required to be considered for the role:

- Minimum 3 years’ experiencein high-volume kitchen
- Ability to deliver a consistently high quality dining experience for our patrons
- Ability to maintain consistency in product in terms of quality, taste and presentation.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene plans and standards, HACCP & food safety regulations




- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Can work well in a fast-paced environment with a good temperament.
- Be a great team player.
- Understand that in all situations, the customer comes first.
- Understand that we are all working towards the same goals.

Responsibilities:

- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and wait staff
