About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment to ensure maximum plant reliability and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Preventative and breakdown maintenance on processing and packaging equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Participation in shutdowns and capital improvement projects
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to company standards
- Working closely with production teams to support operational performance

About You

- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, FMCG, or a similar industrial environment
- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
