With a strong reputation for quality products, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service, they are seeking an experienced Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions to customers across the electrical industry. The role is a step into Sales Manager role so we are looking for someone with their eyes on the future.

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities across Melbourne.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and growing an established customer portfolio
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Building relationships with electrical contractors, builders, developers and commercial clients
- Providing product advice and tailored solutions to customers
- Preparing quotations and following opportunities through to completion




- Working closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service
- Maintaining market awareness and identifying emerging opportunities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
- Experience within electrical wholesale, lighting, industrial products or a related industry would be highly regarded
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- A proactive and results-driven approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline
- A current driver's licence
