Description

Our Malanda team is looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join the Road Services Department as a full‑time permanent Plant Operator.

The position is responsible for operating and maintaining Council’s trucks and plant (primarily a Water Truck) for road construction and maintenance projects, and for providing a high standard of operational and maintenance labouring skills throughout the Tablelands Region.

Remuneration and benefits

- Base salary package from $63,250.75 per annum ($2,432.72 per fortnight)
- A range of allowances included in base salary
- Attractive work/life balance – 76 hours over a 9‑day fortnight (fortnightly RDO)
