Trusted not-for-profit community organisation
Broad leadership role across Support at Home and Disability
Excellent salary | Sydney location | Hybrid
Care starts with people. And this role needs someone who brings both head and heart to the way they shape quality, clinical governance and safe care.
Our client is a long-standing and well-known provider supporting vulnerable members of their community for over eight decades. They support people across aged care, disability and community services.
Their approach to quality and clinical practice is evolving in line with industry expectations and standards. They are embedding a strong learning and improvement culture. The old approach checked boxes. The new one builds confidence. You're here to make good practice permeate and stick, not to be the quality police. Reporting to the Director of Aged and Disability, you will lead quality, clinical governance and continuous improvement.
You will help prepare for the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS requirements, embed a new incident and risk system, strengthen clinical oversight and turn quality data into clear, practical action for the organisation.
Credible and calm, with a natural flair for engaging people professionally
Warm, practical and solid at educating others
Curious, structured and willing to ask smart questions
A critical thinker who can balance risk,
care and commercial reality
YOU WILL ALSO BRING...
- AHPRA RN Registration (Preferred)
- Senior leadership experience in quality, compliance and clinical governance across Support at Home or disability services
- Confidence coaching RNs, care teams and operational leaders
- Experience preparing for audit and re-registration against Aged Care Quality Standards and/or NDIS Practice Standards
- An understanding and respect for organisational governance and stakeholder management
- Strength in systems, reporting and change management
- Confidence preparing Board-level reports, dashboards and commentary
WHAT MAKES THIS ORGANISATION ONE YOU'D WANT TO WORK FOR?
You will join a highly regarded organisation with warmth, heart and a long history of supporting clients, families and communities across Sydney.
This is the kind of role where you can build something that lasts. The foundations are there: committed leadership, meaningful services and a transparent appetite for better systems.
This opportunity is to bring it together — to lift clinical confidence, embed clinical governance across every service, help shape education from the ground up and give the organisation sharper insight into what good quality looks like in practice.
Do something that takes you out of the ordinary.
