Join our team as an experienced property professional to support the delivery of Council’s statutory property, community land and managed Crown land portfolio.

Working closely with the Property Services Manager and a collaborative team, this role contributes to the compliant, transparent and community focused management of public land assets.

You will provide technical and operational support across property transactions, portfolio management and statutory processes, working with internal stakeholders, community groups, government agencies and external consultants to ensure outcomes align with legislative requirements, Council policies and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Support statutory property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, licencing, easements and road closures
- Undertake due diligence, market analysis and feasibility assessments in line with legislation and Council policy
- Assist in managing acquisitions and community lease and licence portfolios
- Prepare and negotiate lease, licence and permit agreements
- Coordinate consultants, Native Title and Aboriginal Land Claim matters
- Prepare reports, maintain records and respond professionally to stakeholder enquiries
