THE ROLE

We are currently seeking aSenior Landscape Architectto join ourCommercial Designteam to support the continued growth of this department. Working alongside an established and highly experienced team, this role will be responsible for delivering high quality landscaping designs for our clients.

We are looking for a candidate with passion for their job, a designer that can push the boundaries, whilst creating beautiful and environmentally aware landscapes that will thrill our clients.

This role will be responsible for:

- Leading the project delivery from the initial sketch design, through to successful project completion.
- Collaborate with sub-consultant groups (Architects, Engineers, Planners) to incorporate factors affecting the design, such as planning requirements and site conditions.
- Produce innovative and detailed landscape designs, and documentation aligned with client briefs, budgets, and project timelines.
- Prepare sketch and concept plans, showing features such as location of buildings, roads and walkways, land contours and vegetation to be planted or retained for client approval.
- Assist in the development of junior team members.




- Attend site meetings or site visits as required.

What we’re looking for:

- Qualified Landscape Architect, with at least 3 years of relevant landscape design experience (preferably in commercial design).
- Some horticultural knowledge.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating high-quality designs and managing projects from concept to completion, with a comprehensive understanding of council requirements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and other design tools.
- Creative thinker, someone who wants to innovate in our industry, whilst carefully balancing constructability considerations.
- An ability to problem solve and provide solutions to unanticipated challenges.
- Capacity to work independently and self-directed, or in a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and consultants.
