Promotional Centre a highly reputable and successful Promotional Merchandise Distributor, is based in Carrum Downs.

We work with brands like General Motors, Ford, Chevrolet, Valvoline, Universal Studios, Asashi Brands and many local and international companies

As we continue to expand, we are offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Production Co-ordinator to join our team of 35+

Previous experience in the Promotional Merchandise/Licensing industry or Print Industry would be an advantage, however is not essential and full training will be provided.

To be successful in this role, you will need to pay close attention to detail and accuracy, work within a close team environment, and display good teamwork skills. Reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure when needed are also a must.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to) -

- Provide exceptional Customer Service and build relationships with Clients and Suppliers.
- Work in conjunction with the Sales/Support Team to ensure all production jobs are ordered and decorated correctly and delivered on time.
- Follow the Production Process as outlined.
- Manage and maintain a rolling production timeline and update regularly.
- Process orders.
- Review product specifications to ensure the quality of products and designs is achievable.
- Work directly with Suppliers to order products, coordinate and deliver manufactured products in a timely manner.
- Liaise with the In-House Graphics Team on artwork proofs.
- Liaise with Digitiser to set up new logos for embroidery.




- Work directly with the Embroidery Team to sample new logos and send them to the client for approval.
- Follow up with Clients and Suppliers to ensure each order runs smoothly and on time.
- Check through current orders daily, and follow up with Clients or Suppliers as needed to ensure production is on track for delivery on time
- Work with the Warehouse Team to check in goods, quality check and prepare for despatch.
- Book freight and liaise with Couriers.
- Invoicing and closing off jobs.
- Filing Completed Job Bags.
- Preparation for regular Production Meetings.

Other Duties/Responsibilities (as required) -

- Continually look to improve processes.
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a production-Admin type role is a must.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. (Have a laugh)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in (Gmail, Word, Excel,).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to current tasks and responsibilities.

What we offer

This a permanent full time position.

Note we close over Xmas holiday period for 2-3 weeks
