Assistant Director of Boarding

Prince Alfred College is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys from ELC to Year 12 based in Adelaide, SA. Our Purpose is to nurture each boy to develop into well-rounded young men of good character, who are prepared to contribute positively to society. We are currently seeking applications for the role of Assistant Director of Boarding. Opened in 2019, our outstanding Boarding House caters for a wide range of student abilities, interest and needs, and ensures an exceptional experience for all boarders at Prince Alfred College. The Assistant Director of Boarding has responsibility for assisting with the daily operations, rosters, reporting, student welfare, as well as staff wellbeing and development to ensure the College delivers an exceptional boarding experience.

The successful applicant will be a teacher with relevant experience in boarding and pastoral care,



demonstrating high level communication and organisation skills enabling you to manage completing priorities and build positive relationships.

The roleis being offeredas an initial5-yearcontract for the role ofAssistant Director of Boarding, with an underlying substantive as a full-time teacher. The position is residential with accommodation provided for the successful applicant and their family. Commencing at thebeginning of 2027 the position is accompanied with a time allocation and leadership allowance.
