You will be accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of meeting best practice standards for clinical practice and patient centred care within a multidisciplinary team for the Emergency Department and Specialist Clinics areas.

About us:

Innisfail Hospital is a 49-bed rural hospital providing health care services at Level 3 – 4 within the Clinical Services Capability Framework. The Emergency Department is a busy rural department with approximately 1500 presentations per month. The Specialist Clinics area supports approximately 10 – 14 public and private visiting outreach specialist services.

About your prospect:

In this position you will…





- Provide effective and efficient management of service in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate the provision of quality evidence based care.
- Lead the implementation of programs through effective use of teams, establishing clear plans, timelines and specific activities.
- Collaboratively lead, support and participate in investigating and implementing recommendations for improved client outcomes and service delivery using a range of appropriate audit/research approaches.
