About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a 3-month temporary contract, with an immediate start.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and building strong relationships with suppliers.

This is a great chance to step into a high-performing finance team and support the team during a busy period, while working closely with internal stakeholders to uphold GPS’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and project allocations, ensuring correct coding to relevant projects.




- Respond to supplier enquiries regarding payments, invoices, and account balances
- Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate and manage payments to contractors and labour hire providers
- Generate customer invoices on a monthly basis or as requested by Project Managers
- Apply and reconcile customer payments against outstanding invoices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including credit terms and payment history
- Support the finance team with other ad hoc duties as required.

What we're looking for:

- Previous experience in a similiar Accounts payable role.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in using MYOB.
